Eight days for women in a seafront villa with its own private beach, at the edge of one of Italy's prettiest fishing villages.
Tellaro is a tiny fishing village built into the rocks above the sea, on the far end of the Gulf of La Spezia. Our villa sits right on the water at the edge of the village, a short walk from its lanes, restaurants and hiking trails.
We'll spend two days exploring: one along the cliffside villages of Cinque Terre, and one inside the walls of Lucca. Back at the villa there's a jewelry-making class, a cooking class, and massages.
A private chef cooks every meal, and I'll have you collected from Pisa or Florence airport, so there's nothing to arrange once you land. The rest of the time is yours to rest, swim off the private beach, and watch the light change over the Ligurian coast from the terrace.
A bright, 450-square-meter seafront villa, ours for the week, with views of the water from almost everywhere.
The five painted villages stacked on the cliffs above the sea, just up the coast from Tellaro.
A Tuscan town ringed by Renaissance walls, with piazzas, towers and church squares to wander.
Make a piece of your own to wear home.
Learn to cook the food of the Ligurian coast, then sit down together to eat it.
Unwind with a massage at the villa.
Long, unscheduled hours on the private beach and terraces, with the coast spread out in front of you.
