Hi, I'm Joy
Reisen means "to travel" in German and is my mother's maiden name. Joy is my first name, and the feeling I believe every journey should inspire. Together, ReisenJoy represents more than a name; it is my promise to create extraordinary travel experiences that are seamless, personalized, and unforgettable. From the moment you begin planning until you return home, every detail is thoughtfully curated so you can travel with confidence, comfort, and joy.
During my 20 years of working for BigLaw, I worked hard and I traveled harder, planning every one of my own trips across 78 countries and hundreds of cities. I was also the dedicated travel planner and coordinator on all of the trips I took with with my friends and family. Eventually I realized the part everyone else dreaded - the planning - was the part I enjoyed and was pretty darn good at, so I left the law behind to chase the thing that actually brings me joy: travel.
Now I'm building a career out of all that experience and taking the stress off your plate so you can keep the joy on yours.
JoyTravel has brought some of the greatest joy, inspiration, and personal growth into my life. It has allowed me to experience different cultures, gain new perspectives, and create memories that stay with me long after I return home. But what I love most about travel is the way it brings people together. A getaway with your best friends can be incredibly healing, a family trip can strengthen bonds and create memories you'll talk about for years, and a retreat can introduce you to friendships that last a lifetime. Even a simple conversation with a local can open your mind, challenge your assumptions, and change the way you see the world.
That's why I'm passionate about helping others travel. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy, connection, and personal growth that travel can bring. My goal is to help people explore the world, build meaningful relationships, create unforgettable memories, and return home with a broader perspective and a deeper appreciation for both the places they visit and the people they share those experiences with.
